The Long Days
There's something particular about summer at its peak - long light, open windows, a garden that spills indoors without asking. This is the first of our Chapters: an ongoing story about the seasons, told through scent, film, and the people whose work embodies them. We're calling this one The Long Days.
Gardens in full bloom. Wild coastlines. The rituals that make a house feel lived in. Late summer has a rhythm all of its own. Mornings begin gently, the windows are opened to welcome in the day, and time seems to stretch beneath warm skies. The garden becomes another room of the house, while the house itself holds onto the season - carrying with it the scent of fresh air, sun-warmed stone and flowers gathered along the way
These are the long days. Bare feet on cool floors after hours spent outdoors. Linen drying in the breeze. Hands scented with herbs after tending the garden. Evenings that drift effortlessly from table to twilight, where candles are lit not because darkness has fallen, but because the moment feels worth lingering in.

This year, that feeling finds its clearest expression in Seaweed & Samphire - fresh sea air, salt on the breeze, and the quiet clarity that comes from time spent by the water.
For this chapter, we collaborated with seaweed artist Tamra (@tamra_uk), whose work shares this same appreciation for the beauty found in nature's quieter moments. Walking the shoreline in search of seaweed, she gathers what the tide leaves behind before carefully preserving each piece as delicate botanical artwork. Her process is thoughtful and unhurried, revealing intricate forms and textures that might otherwise pass unnoticed.
Her practice became a natural companion to Seaweed & Samphire, a fragrance inspired by fresh sea air, salt on the breeze and the quiet clarity that comes from time spent by the water. Together, they explore the relationship between scent and place, celebrating the simple act of paying attention to the landscapes that surround us.
