This enveloping fragrance evokes the slow and soothing mood of a late summer afternoon – passing through a ripe, golden landscape to sit under the shade of a mature fig tree on a terrace of sun-baked bricks. Honeyed treats, ripe fruits and the accompanying buzz of insects are all evoked in this soft and sensual scent.
The fragrance begins with a breath of leafy green, sharp blackcurrants and milky-sweet fig. At its core are dried fruits and earthy, hay-like saffron that are underpinned by soft amber, heady patchouli and warm vanilla.

The fig gives this candle a fresh, green quality without being overly sweet, while the saffron and warmer notes add a nice balance. It’s a light, sophisticated scent that works particularly well during the summer months and doesn’t overpower the room. The votive size is ideal for smaller spaces or for trying the fragrance before buying a larger candle. Currently have it lit in my kitchen and will definitely be buying again!

I initially smelled this candle when visiting the shop inside Raby Castle and I loved it so much I took a picture of it to remember the brand and scent.
I ordered online and I’ve been burning it for a few shaa now and the smell is insane. It’s beautiful and it lasts / lingers for a few hours afterwards too.
