Fir Balsam & Winter Berries is a hibernal scent filled with Yuletide ritual. It is gathered with the midwinter green and ushered in on gloved hands and misted breath. The ripe sweetness of winter fruits wraps and weaves through a heart of fir and cedar and birch. Woody stems plaited in rings of seasonal celebration, studded with red berries and cinnamon bark.

Wrapped in the smoothness of silk ribbons this rustle of top notes nestles on a bed of amber and balsam. Rounded and warm and waiting for guests. As foliage twists and fingers knot ribbon, this is a scent that sits softly in the solstice. It watches the frost melt on the windows from the rich glow it casts indoors. A steady companion to wreath and garland, to carol singers and spiced drinks.

Winter berries combined with cinnamon warm into a woody blend of fir needle, birch and cedarwood, rounded with amber and fir balsam. A welcoming scent that is reminiscent of a Christmas wreath.

    My winter fav

    If it was possible to eat this candle I would! It is the essence of Winter that I could happily live with all year round. The combination of freshness, warmth and a cocooning mellowness is fabulous. I always have at least one in my cupboard to replace the one I am burning as I really don’t want to ever run out.

    The most wonderful time (and scent)...

    I genuinely wish this scent was made all year around, as I cannot get enough of it. This is my third year of buying the candle, which creates a beautiful smell in the room even before I have lit it. It is Christmas, wrapped up in a glass jar for me

    The perfect winter candle

    The Fir Balsam & Winter Berries candle is absolutely stunning. It captures everything I love about winter, crisp, green fir notes blended with a soft sweetness from the berries that never feels artificial or heavy. It’s fresh, festive and beautifully cosy all at once.

    The scent fills the room effortlessly and creates that warm, wintry atmosphere without being overpowering. And as always with Plum & Ashby, the packaging is gorgeous and feels like such a treat to unwrap and display.

    A truly beautiful seasonal candle, uplifting, elegant and perfect for winter evenings. Highly recommend.

    Beautiful, lasting scent

    Bought this candle for the festive season and my husband and I loved it. We lit it every evening through December and enjoyed its wonderful scent. I'll definitely be looking at Plum & Ashby's other scents for the new year.
